Fisher Sex Determination Poster - 2012 West Coast Fisher Symposium

Male fishers are larger than female fishers (sexual size dimorphism), which is a common pattern among many species of mammals and birds. In this poster we use information on various morphological measurements taken during captures, and similar measurements extracted from camera images to develop mathematical models that allow for determining the sex (male or female) of fishers that are detected at camera survey stations.

This poster is presented by the Fisher team at the 2012 West Coast Fisher Symposium.
