Fisher Activity Cycle Poster - 2012 West Coast Fisher Symposium

The cameras we use to survey for fishers in our study area record information on the dates, times, temperature, etc. for when fishers “visited” the survey grid. In this poster we use information on the time stamps from images with fishers to evaluate the diel (24 hr) activity cycles for fishers during different periods of the year. Time stamp data from cameras focused on den trees were also used to investigate when reproductive female fishers attended to kits in den trees, and when they typically leave den trees to forage.

This poster is presented by the Fisher team at the 2012 West Coast Fisher Symposium.
